Anne Arundel County Public Schools elected to modernize an old elementary school to serve as a new home for the Phoenix Academy, an alternative school that provides an environment and support necessary for students to achieve academic and behavioral success. The facility was designed to house three separate programs.
In addition to fully renovating the existing elementary school, TCA designed a new addition to accommodate shared space for the three programs, which includes a new kitchen, cafeteria, gymnasium, music room and applied technology spaces.
